Improvisation starting from
Mozart. Pianoforte
Heidemarie Wiesner Dance Roberta Claren Choreography Barbara Friedrich
and Roberta Claren Improvisation is one of the most ancient artistic disciplines, the
way to make music and understand it… Programme The first part of the performance is in the form of a documentation. The dance is informal (in tuta or in work-clothes). Our intention is to involve the public in our work and its process, which has brought us to use Mozart's classical music as a stimulus for improvisation. Demonstration of some stages of the process starting from a formal analysis of the ronḍ
and from the musical interpretation through dance. Creation
of a ronḍ e novo…
instantaneous creation of music and dance Sonata
in A K. 310 Creation of a theatrical ambiance by means of sets and videos. The dance is 'in costume'. A free improvisation that starts from listening to Mozart's A minor Sonata and is woven into the three movements - Allegro maestoso, Andante cantabile, Presto. Mozart's makes the music grow and creates images inside us. Dance begins with this inner tension. The music in turn adapts itself to the dance in a free improvisation
and then returns fluidly to the next movement of Mozart.
